Frank Jakovac

Co-Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

A performance-driven executive with 40+ years’ experience in leading companies ranging from start-ups to turnarounds to high growth, Frank has developed expert finesse in executing strategies designed to build enduring, highly profitable organizations. 

 

As President and Chief Operating Officer of Paradigm Holdings, Inc. from 2004 to 2006, Frank oversaw the cybersecurity and enterprise IT company’s day-to-day operations, helping to clarify the Company’s vision and establishing a five-year strategic plan designed to grow revenues from $60 to $200 million.  In 2005, Paradigm went public by way of reverse merger and was ultimately acquired by defense contractor CACI International in 2011 in a deal valued at over $61.5 million.   In 2001, he was recruited by the Board of Directors of Avid Corporation, a sports apparel company, to serve as its President and CEO until its sale to United Companies Corporation in a merger transaction.

 

A born entrepreneur and business strategist, Frank started his career working at Memorex Corporation, beginning first as a sales representative and rising through the ranks over an 11-year period to President of Memorex Finance Company, a subsidiary of Memorex that specialized in leasing equipment to the large scale mainframe market and where he grew the start-up’s revenue to $300 million in less than four years.

 

Nominated as the “Entrepreneur of the Year” by Pittsburgh Business Times, Frank formerly served on the Board of Trustees and was a member of the Alumni Board of Directors of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.  He graduated from Edinboro with a Bachelor of Science degree and successfully completed executive leadership courses at the University of Pittsburgh and Harvard Business School.  Frank is also active in the community, supporting several charitable organizations, including serving on local fund raising committees.
